Duterte to NPA rebels: 'Meron akong mga attack helicopters, kayo ang pagpraktisan ko'
Duterte attended the demilitarization of weapons seized during the Marawi siege at the Philippine Army headquarters in Taguig City.
During his speech, he said, "Napipika ako nitong mga komunista. So there is one year. There is—it is a big window for all of us. Now, I am not a dreamer. Pero ang reality 'pag one year, 'pag continuous ang bakbakan, mauubusan talaga iyan ng tao at bala."
"At meron akong mga attack helicopters, kayo ang pagpraktisan ko. 'Pag nandoon sa taas, 'pag nakita ninyo iyan—may terorista ba, sabihin mo pa na arestuhin na. Praktisan ninyo agad. Patayan pala gusto ninyo," he added.
Duterte mentioned that the government purchased attack helicopters and he said that if he have money, he will bought 50 more helicopters.
Last November, the president already talked about on buying to acquire 23 attack helicopters in an effort to boost the military's capabilities.
